They all the hospital, our health dept, our doctor was having a fit trying to tell me to get that dog, I said he killed it, we need the head they said so I told him and he said well I buried it (This was Monday) and I called all them back & told them, I said why are U having such a fit about the dog. They said they needed it to test for rabies I said well my daughter is updated on her shots, the dog has his and I showed proof..What's the big deal? Well the health dept. told me that even tho ANY dog has it rabies shot that it doesn't stop ANYONE from getting RABIES all it does is lock the jaw of the dog if it has rabies...I said what U mean to tell me all us people out here get our dogs the rabies shot thinking that our dog won't get it and it can still? And they said yes they can still get it. I couldn't beleive how here in our town they tell us all get that shot...But really when U think about it what good does it do to get it? What if a dog gets rabies and just scratches U with thier teeth before it's jaw locks? My little girl healed just fine and I didn't get her the series of Rabies shots for she gets enough shots with her allergey shots. So what do U all think should we get them their shots after they told me that?

I know I will get slack from this, but from my experience and extensive reading, I feel like the rabies shot is the biggest joke out there. I dont' think it stops rabies and I think that it does more harm in our dog's bodies: siezures, tumors at the site of shot, tumors inside, etc. I hear and read this ALL the time. I'm glad your daughter is okay now!! I'm sorry that happened to her!
