 Green something
Somewhere on this site I read about something like your story.
Perhaps it occurred in Colorado or the midwest.
Anyway, it usually occurs in cows, but it occurred to a Yorkie. It's some kind of fly larvee that burrows into the skin and festers and oozes out green. Yuk.
Perhaps you can search the forums her on cow to see if it turns up.
