I'm soooooooooooooooo glad I've not posted on this thread! MEOW!! Jeez, let's all be friends, okay? When I joined this forum I was attacked, but I want to be a part of it so badly that I just didn't post for a few days so I could let it go! Guess what? I'm baaaaaaack!!!
Now, can I tell someone what happened at lunch today? I was walking my yorkie puppy in his harness to the mailbox. I saw a lady on the sidewalk with a golden retriever and a lab (both on leashes). I politely walked out into the street with my puppy (culdesac) to go around them. Suddenly, the lab tore after my puppy!!!!!!!!!!! Without even thinking I whisked him UP into the air like a yoyo) dangling in his harness and caught him in mid-air about 6 feet off the ground! OMG, he was going to be that dog's lunch!! I was terrified for my pup. He was fine, though scared enough that he couldn't walk and I had to carry him!! The lady could no more control of those dogs than the man in the moon! I was so scared and angry I couldn't even speak. She walks these dogs for someone, so she doesn't even own them. She shouldn't be walking them if she can't control them!! If I'd have bent down to pick him up I imagine I would have had a dog bite or worse. I can hardly think about it without crying!!!!! |
