As with any purebred dog, they can vary within the breed standard for size and can be undersized or oversized. Oversized would be those more than 7 lbs. Usually these are sold for pet and not used for breeding. Although it doesn't say in the breed standard, most reputable show breeders consider under 4 lbs to be undersized and would not be used for breeding purposes especially for a female but a male under 4 lbs won't be used for breeding either. |
