actually the standard size yorkie is 5-7lbs, so that is still pretty small, it's definitely not big! now my girl is 1lb 13oz and she is 5mon and the vet says she will probably be lucky to reach 3lbs! but a yorkie is still a great dog for someone in an apartment, as long as he/she is not a barker!
