I used a cardboard box and wrapped a towel around it so it wouldn't get wet if he did pee in there. For me, making the crate really small worked like magic. From the moment I made his crate small, he never peed or pooped in his crate again. Hopefully it will work this well for you. But the trick is making it small enough. You may think it is "too" small, but it seriously needs to be so small that she is touching every bit of the space when she lays down. Good luck!
