You might consider telling the breeder you will take another puppy later on. Maybe there will be another litter in a few months when you're feeling less raw.We got baby Lexy knowing she could never replace Gracie. We love her so much and it doesn't take any of our love from Gracie (RIP). We just love her for who she is and try not to compare her to Gracie. I hope your grief is mixed with happy thoughts of your angel. Elizabeth
