Good Post! And very timely for me.

I'm a big believer that all non-show dogs should be spayed/neutered. I give all my extra change, round up the $$ extra in support for all of the programs that support affordable spay/neutering etc.....

I adopted Roxy and Ruby about 3 months ago and have planned all along to get them fixed right at 6 months. Well... the time is approaching and now I have jelly knees - not enough to ever change my mind but I am nervous - something I have never really been (I didn't say cautious - just nervous)!

Tomorrow we go to the vets for their final puppy shot (second of the lyme series) and to make arrangements for their operations. OH MY - it is very scary to think about doing this for Roxy as she is just over 3 pounds and it doesn't really make me feel all that much better that Ruby is already 7.8 pounds.

This was easier with the big dogs!
