Picky eaters are not born, they are created.
This worked for us. Also just putting the food down for 20 mins and picking it up works. He figured out real quick that food comes down at mealtime so he better eat if he's hungry.

Loki was picky about his bowls too. He'll drink out of anything but did not like to eat out of his SS bowl. Once I switched to huge ceramic ones he was OK. If we are out somewhere I just use the dixie paper disposables and he eats fast so he can shred the bowl! Not suggesting this, it's just funny Also, his favorite thing to eat off of is a plate. If I hadn't found the big flat ceramic bowls I would have gotten him a plate.

It's also possible that now that it's 100% his new food, maybe he is allergic to it or truly doesn't like it (I don't mean picky, but all of us have something that doesn't agree with us.) Maybe it smells different and he needs to get used to it. Loki gets "picky" for a few days when I open a new bag of food, since it's all natural it probably smells slightly different than the old food - who knows. Dogs sense things we don't. Also, Loki will sometimes skip a meal, but rarely two. Oh, and it's also possible the new food is making him feel more full than before.
