I told them there was no puppy or placenta stuck inside and she went silent,I asked if Meg was actually injected with anything more than water and she went to have a word with the vet. She came back and told me that she had been told not to discuss the matter with me any further and if I wanted to talk to someone I would have to ring the pratice manager (who is not a vet!) We have already been told to find a new vets by them so last night we took her to a different one. They checked Meg over and said she has a uterine infection and put her on antibiotics. We have got to go back on thursday and if it hasnt got any better she has to have swabs and a scan. All this may lead to her being spayed to get rid of all the infection. I cant believe that the vets we have always used have treated us like this but at the end of the day its there loss as I am a five dog customer and now going elsewere! I just hope these antibiotics work as I think Megs been through enough for a few months! |
awww poor thing. can you make the old vet pay for the spay if she needs it since they are the ones that did this to her? that is horrible. you should post another thread and tell everyone not to ever use that vet again. hope she pulls through and doesn't have to go through anything else!!!
