but I did read somewhere to keep giving it until they were about 3#. My 4 month old puppy is 2# and I give it to her sort of irregularly. If she seems tired or I know I'll be out for a while or just because I think about it. The breeder did tell me not to rely on it too heavily or they might not eat their food. She does eat but it is just one kibble at a time taken to her bed & then back for another one when that one is gone.
