I have 3 kids, ages 10, 9 and 5, Tinkerbell adores all three of them. She has never tried to bite them, I have always taught them to respect her size and to handle her with love, I do not let my 5 year old pick her up because he is a child after all, but my experience is that my Yorkie is wonderful with children because she is used to being around them. I don't know about all Yorkies
She is a good baby with all people big and small
