I haven't spayed Cricket yet. She is 20 months old and is in the middle of her second heat. We had Bubba neutered at six months. Cricket is 5.5 lbs and I feel so worried about her getting the surgery. After seeing her being miserable during her heat cycle, I have decided to get her spayed when she is done. She is my sidekick and I love her so much. I know all of the benefits of getting them spayed before the first heat and even now. I just feel like she's my baby and am very protective over her.
I am not going to be selfish, so she is getting spayed. We never intended to breed her, I just kept putting it off.
Okay there's my confession. I hope others that feel similar to me will take another thought about it. I know it's best for her.
