I noticed that Gus doesn't eat much on hotter days. He's 2 and is only 3.1lbs. He is also less active when it's hot unless he's being cooled off pool side. What I do if nobody is swimming, I put him in the kitchen sink and wet the lower part of his body. You can really tell when it's too hot for these little guys. And by doing this he's refreshed and good to go till he gets too hot again. I give him boiled chicken and he loves it. Here is a picture of Gus taken just this weekend at a playdate. The little Biewer next to him is 4 lbs and you can really tell the difference between 1 bl.
