Perhaps it is just a period like most yorkies go through when they're a bit more timid. It will probably pass, but be gentle and perhaps walk ahead of her and offer a treat that she enjoys as incentive. Mine crawls over me about 6 a.m. and wakes me up to go for walks!
It's the only time of day that it is cool enough until after dark!
