Default My experience...

Oscar had little scabs like this under his chin and on his cheeks from scratching and it was just because his skin was so dry and itchy. I took him to the vet for it cause I didn't know what it was and the vet said that dogs can get 'puppy acne' sometimes and that it just looked like dry skin. They don't prescribe anything for it - just suggested some things to help his dry skin. He still gets little scabs from time to time from scratching, but it's nothing serious. I use a good conditioner when I bathe him and he's on the missing link supplement which seems to have helped quite a bit. One thing that the vet did suggest was putting Olive Oil in his food.
