I know there is a general guide in the stickies, but I wanted to get some insight.

We just acquired our new baby girl, Bella. She is eight weeks old and weighs 1 lb, 3 oz. Her brothers and sisters weighed from 1.2 to 2.2. The father is 3.5 lbs and the mother is 6 lbs. The breeder said our new puppy should be about 4 to 4.5 lbs as an adult.

Does this sound right? Our 4 year old yorkie weighs 12 lbs. The breeder back then didn't tell us anything about the parents but advised us that he may get a little bigger, like 7 or 8 lbs. Little did we know that he would be such a big Yorkie! We love him anyway, but wanted to get a smaller dog this time around.
