I think I may have found a solution. I have an 8 year old chihuahua (who had only child syndrome until the new baby came home) He doesn't really bother her or try to hurt her, he just basically ignores her. Almost like a big brother and an annoying little sister. I began to observe them when they didn't know I was watching and he was so sweet to her. It's like he loves her be he doesn't want me to know. Anyhow, I had originally put him in the kitchen and her in the bathroom----but, now I put them both in the kitchen and I come home to 2 dogs who are much more content!!
