So sorry to hear that Gucci is sick. I will be keeping her (and you) in my thoughts and prayers.
I know that hypoglycemia is on the list of illnesses that Yorkies are subject to. This is a general list and doesn't specify by weight or age - just by breed. So I guess that we should all be concerned regardless of weight or age, especially if they are vomiting, have diarrhea, and/or not eating. I'm very surprised the vet didn't get her subcutaneous fluid last night, especially if he told you to withhold water. Gucci is fortunate she didn't become dehydrated as well as hypoglycemic.
