Well, here's what I have to say about turning 30:
My brother is 8 years older than me. When he turned 30, I thought he was OLD and threw him an "over the hill party".

This year, when I turned 40
(okay, that one bummed me out a bit), my husband bought me a Happy
80th Birthday card. He said it was to help me realize 40 wasn't so bad. I still don't see the humor in that
Anyway, I know it sounds trite, but you are truly only as old as you feel (and I've never felt as old as I thought I should).
Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! And my piece of advice:
Have someone take lots of pics of you, even if you don't want them to. In ten years you'll look at those pics and say "wow! I looked good!"
You're only 30 once. Enjoy...
