Hello Mom to Malibu,
I understand your frustration and sympathize with you. You wanted a tiny dog and now you have a standard dog. It's just a matter of not getting what you paid for and what you wanted. I bought my daughter a pup for Christmas andit was the hardest thing to do. I went to kennels and couldn't trust the people there. They acted like they were hiding the truth. I could hear tons of dogs barking and they were telling me these were the parents? aND I looked at alot of "yorkieish" dogs. ie: looked like they had silky in them. Wrong face, Long snout, odd colors, etc. If you can, try to be patient. Go to alot of places to look.I found Bella at a private home, saw her parents and sister. The parents were like large hamsters with long hair. Dad was two and one half lbs and mom was three. Bella was a csection. She weighed l.6 lbs at 12 wks. and tips the scales at three lbs now, will be one year in Sept. I paid extra for her because she was small. So, i feel bad for you because you paid hard earned money and didn't get your petite dog. I have since decided I want a small dog for myself and I can't find anyone I completely trust , however, there are good breeders on YT. I think the growth charts are RIGHT ON. IT is all you can go by unless you have seen pups from same parents in past and have a history. Bellas mom is retired now after two c sections or i would get one from her. I intend on seeing my dog even if i have to fly to a breeder in Canada. Good luck to you, DEnise
