I found a new pet store the other day & was excited how close to my house it was. So, I was loading up my basket with all the normals that I spoil my baby with, when my daughter came over saying "mom, they have puppies here". So.....I went & looked & it was the typical puppies in glass cages. It made me SICK! One little baby was sound asleep with his head in a pile of diahrea. I quickly started unloading my basket & my daughter asked me what I was doing. I told her (loud enough for the owner to hear) that I would not spend a dime in a store that sold puppies in this manner & was so careless with their care.
I left the store wondering the same thing....what can be done? I know that my single lost purchase won't hurt them too much. I will be sure to tell all my friends not to shop there either, but this certainly is not a cure. |
