7 weeks? That seems awful young to leave the mommy. I am not letting my pups go until they are 10 weeks old (only 7 days old right now).
They should have more then a week to ween off of their moms and at 7 weeks that's about all they've had. They need to be around their siblings to learn interaction. It's good for them.
