Well, I actually didn't pick her, my mom did, but I can tell you what she was looking for (which is exactly what I would have looked for had I done it myself).
1. Breed (she knew I wanted a Yorkie)...duh
2. Sex (wanted a prissy little girl...except I got my tomboy)
3. (well...this should probably go higher than three). Health...her vet is the vet for the parents & he said they're the healthiest Yorkies that he's ever seen. We really trust him, so that really made Mom feel better.
4. Size (she was the smallest female in her litter & my mom wanted a small one because of MY size)
5. Money...because it was the breeder's first time, they got a pretty good deal
6. Temperament (Sadie was the calmest out of the bunch every time Mom went to see her...except for when they picked her up...then she was WILD)
