I feel like that a lot with my threads. Try not to take it personally. I can't speak for others YT habits, but I go immediately to threads posted today and read/respond to what I can with whatever time I've got. Since there are 9 pages of today's posts, I rarely get through them all unless I'm on for a few hours. So, if the post gets much beyond page 3, I probably don't see it.
