I'm so sorry about this. He handled this situation so horribly! Who does that? Certainly someone who doesn't deserve you!

A little word of advice, from the mother of 5 girls, to all you single girls in long term relationships. If the guy doesn't know after 6 months whether or not he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, then it's time for YOU to move on.
Sometimes these relationships make it too convenient for a guy to have the best of both worlds. A girl needs to start pushing after 6 months. And if it drives him away, then it never would have worked out anyway.

I should have heard that a long time ago. Next week my bf and I will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary. No he hasn't proposed, we've talked about it, but in my eyes I don't see it coming anytime soon. Oh well, we'll see what happens in the next few weeks.
