For a quick small, point and shoot digital, I'd recommend the 4 megapixel Canon SD300. It starts up fast (time from turning on the power button to being able to take a picture), and you can take many pictures continuously, which is great for Yorkies because you never know how many shots it'll take to capture a "Yorkie moment." It's around $300 or $350 now I think.
