Thank you all for your sweet posts. Katie had her tonsills out today and she is in a great deal of pain, but she is doing well. It concerns me that she doesn't want anything cold or sweet, she only wants chicken noodle soup! I called the doctor and his nurse said it was okay but only to warm it enough to melt the fat, so that is what I'm doing. She has sipped 4 bowls of it in the last 5 hours. She is so miserable... She gets pain meds every 4 hours but that last 30 minutes before her next dose of pain medicine seems to take FOREVER!!! I have a feeling that we are going to have a LOOOOOOONG night!
