I got it from Plush Puppy here: http://www.plushpuppy.net/seabreeze.html. It is to help prevent breakage and matting. It did make both of my cotton coats feel silkier but I bet it will work even better when I use it on wet fur. I didn't try it on my silk coat yorkie because I didn't think she needed it. How it helped the topknot: Sugar has some breakage up there and the broken pieces come out of the topknot and fall in his eyes. I rubbed some in his bangs before I put the ponytail in and it seems to be holding the little stray hairs back out of his eyes. I'm hoping in the long run it will strengthen that hair so I don't get the breakage.
Having said all that, the main reason I bought it was to help prevent matting which its supposed to be great at.
