I don't know if anyone else has observed this with their dogs, but I find it kinda funny with my two. If I give them treats, the following scenario happens EVERY time without fail.
Boomer runs to his bed and starts munching immediately. He beats Karma there, so she starts circling the room with the treat in her mouth looking for a spot to call her own to eat hers. She always comes back from her journey with no treat, and starts barking at Boomer in the bed, forcing him to sometimes find another spot to eat his cookie. She will lick the place where he was for crumbs, and beg me for more cookies. Later that day, I will find her hidden cookie somewhere behind the couch or in the bedding, etc.
Such odd little habits they both have, I swear.
Sometimes I just sit back and watch them, it cracks me up more often than not.
