UKC and a major win The UKC has a major win very similar to that of the AKC. I am hoping to get my major win soon and finish my girl's ch with them. (I bred this little girl and lost her mother shortly after she was born, so this is double latte' extra special to me!) The points system for the UKC is alot different from that of the AKC. The UKC is a very serious club who pride themselves in working dogs who are bred to "do" what they were bred to "do". I find this to be very important to me as well and I truly love and enjoy showing with the UKC. They are a great bunch of folks who do not play games. They are also a great club to start out with in showing for those of you who need experience. NO PROFF HANDLERS! Just keep in mind they are actually more expensive to enter under, sometimes being twice as much for an entry as an AKC show.
I am entered in 5 classes next weekend with AKC in winston salem; some with a beautiful girl that someone very dear to me is in-trusting me with to show to the best of my ability. (I've won with her before and she is a pleasure to work with...a TRUE example of the breed) This little beauty is already a UKC champ. I'm thrilled and very honored to say the least. Alot of my friends who are in yorkies are going to be at this show and we are all going to have such a great time together!! Please wish me luck and best wishes going out to all of you who are showing in the next few weekends.
