Maybe I'm just impatient, but... I am getting so frustrated! Louie is almost 8 months old and not making any progress with housetraining. I have been training him to go outside, and I just don't know what to do anymore. Most of the time he will hold the pee pee for outside, but he just feels free to poop anywhere in the house. He is so sneaky about it that I almost never catch him. He will wait for me to go to the bathroom or go into the kitchen to put up a plate and as soon as i'm out of sight he has an accident. Sometimes he will even go behind furniture where I can't see. I only let him out of sight for 2 seconds and that's all it takes. I just don't know how to make him understand that poop goes outside too. I try to give him plenty of outside time sometimes even up to 30min., but he is much more interested in barking at everything. I have to make him understand that he can only go outside. Wee wee pads are not an option because I have 4 roomates, and they think it's gross.(but so is dog poo on the floor) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. How do you guys keep an eye on your little ones 24/7. Sorry this is so long. I just needed to vent.
