2 Weeks prior to deliver, I start the Mom on 1/4 can of Science Diet puppy food daily. 1 week prior, I start her on 1/3 C. of Esbilac daily. Right after delivery, I hit her hard with food and give her 1/2 C. of the Esbilac 2 X a day for the first week. Then I'll slowly back that off.
