Well, we have just paid over 200 dollars (with multi-pet discount) at the vet for our cat's annual shots and Mia's 3rd set of shots. Mia's first visit was like 160 dollars. Sometimes it does seem like they are charging too much for certain things. Your new vet does not seem any different than the vet we go to. Hubby jokes and says, we are putting our vet's kids through college LOL. We got VPI superior for Mia because our vet costs so much. We just got 90 dollars back for her 2nd visit, sent in a claim for her 3rd, and the insurance covers Mia's spay too.
