Okay, I told myself I would not post in this topic again, but I just wanted let you all know that I only paid $500 for my little guy. And he is from a champion bloodline, a family of show dogs, a good breeder, etc.
He has the baby doll face (that most people want) and is the perfect size (in my opinion). He has the dark colored coat, big bright eyes and over all sized correctly. I do not show him. I bought him from a breeder that raised these babies as her babies.....not in some backyard kennel or cages in the yard. He was so perfect (and is so perfect) when we got him....already "pre-spoiled", pretty much completely house trained and knew several "commands". He was small when we got him (course had to wait sooooo long to get him, but he was worth it).
Course, now, that same breeder has raised her prices up. The males are now $1000 and I am not sure what females are. That has doubled from three years ago....can you honestly tell me the price for raising these babies has gone up that much? OR do you think she just felt the pressure to compete with the others and got that "greed" (if you will) to bring in more money?
Again, everyone has their ideas of what is right for them and if I felt like something was too much, I would look else where. I just wanted all my YT family to know what I have and how good he is and what I paid.
Thanks!
