 Update you asked for
Silk is 39 days pregnant and is eating well almost too well. She is doing great. Her little tummy has been clipped. I have not shaved it yet but well take it down some more the last week. Her little belly is pooching out and hard. I THINK I can feel three puppies but not sure. Her previous owner said she always has only two. I will have her X-Rayed about a week before due date. I have all my supplies ready except towels. I need some new ones so I am going to buy new ones for the bathroom and use my old ones for whelping. It has been in the nineties for a few days. I only allow her (and the others) outside for about five, no longer than ten minutes. She has trouble getting on the couch now and she doesn't run after Lucy (the pug) much. She just runs a few steps then lays down. Soon, I will have to start picking her up for the couch. i can't wait. |
