When I lost my tiny Sugar I just couldn't bring myself for a while to get another. Not until my breeder friend called me and told me of a female puppy who was born with a turned knee cap. She didn't have enough room to grow because there were too many puppies. She didn't know what else was wrong with her and thought she would be big with course hair. I took her instantly. I named her Cupie. She is now six years old and limps when she walks slow. Her one nail on her front foot is higher up. Cupie is three pounds with silky hair. I took her unconditionally and God blessed me for it.
I love the special needs yorkies. We took home Me-Me in the spring knowing she has pda and needed heart surgery. She went to get her second heart ultrasound for the surgery and it turned out that her murmur is so much better that she doesn't need it.
Talk about God blessing this house! Don't ever give up. The pain we feel when they go is worth the love when they are here. I will love these little babies as long as they are here. You will know when it's time for a puppy. Your heart will tell you when you see him or her. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your story brought tears to my eyes. |
