So I took my baby in for a bath and a trim today at PetSmart. An hour after he was dropped off I get a phone call saying that his arms are matted and that they need to SHAVE HIM. I told them no way and that i know his arms are not matted and don't even think about shaving him. We agreed that they could take off a little bit more hair than I originally intended. I picked him up a little while later and he is shaved down so far that you can see the pink of his skin!!!!!
It's horrible. He looks like a caricature with his big head and little body. And I know this sounds weird but I think the lack of hair is hurting his confidence. And he keeps biting and scratching himself, which he has NEVER done before. We went back a few hours later and demanded our money back. They quickly gave it to us, but we're never going back. We went online and googled PetSmart grooming and there were several people who have had this same experience b/c the groomers there are too busy and don't have the time/patience to properly comb out our pretty babies long hair. Now my baby is bald and I am sick to my stomach and absolutely devastated. Has this happened to anyone else??
