Thanks, Raiza! Toto never even tried to lick her stitches, guess we were lucky! I know I read somewhere what some members did for that problem, but I can't remember how they handled it. The anesthesia was my biggest concern, however, we trusted Dr. Lucy completely! She discussed this among lots of other things involved with these babies when we first interviewed with her. Just make sure your vet is knowledgable about that sort of thing ... the little ones don't need as much as larger dogs. Just try not to worry!
