I grew up not knowing Birds of Prey were such dangers to small dogs. I've read that even if the hawks don't fly off with a small animal... the tendons can kill them - What's even worse was thinking of coyotes too - you live in an area that is known for them. 
Wherever she was - I'm just so glad she found her way home ...she was a very very VERY lucky girl today. |
