I don't go to dog parks period! Dollie runs in her own back yard, that God. I hold her when other dogs are around REGARDLESS. I don't know why, but Dollie just doesn't care for other dogs. Go figure! Yes, I am very, very, protective of her and when she turns her head into me, she is telliing me she isn't interested. When we lived in Arizona there was a big and I mean big WHITE GERMAN SHEP. that lived down the street. When Dollie was first introduced it was love at first sight. She would get so excited to see Sadie and Sadie just loved Dollie. She would let Dollie run all over her. Needless to say, Sadie's owner - Cathy was a wonderful gal and I miss her dearly. Back to this, as I said this is the one and only dog that Dollie has or wanted to have anything to do with. It isn't that I haven't tried to socialize her. She just isn't interested and my first, very first concern is her safety .....If she is this way I would never push her. And as far as that gal goes in the dog park, forget it! Just take care of your baby!
