The pups should be sold as pets only..limited AKC's and no breeding. These faults tend to skip a generation sometimes. Of course the dam should not be bred, but since she is breeding her and the pups have good bites, why not show the mom? The pups took after the sire in this area.
The person who bares the most fault is the breeder of this female..she should not have been sold her to your friend for breeding, she should have been limited or spayed.
