I am getting ready to purchase a new Yorkie and I have never done anything like this before. Before with my first Yorkie I met a lady here in town and just paid when I picked him up but the new breeder I am getting this one from requires a $400.00 deposit. This is not a huge deal but any suggestions on how to look out for scams? I am almost 100% positive she is legit since I have a contract and all and I am meeting her 1/2 way to pick up the Yorkie but since I am new to this I am just scared. Her web site is very elaborate and she seems very professional so I feel good about it but any suggestions would be great - thanks!
