I went though the same thing with Jewel. Stubborn didn't even describe her! We also called in a trainer and were told to put her in a x-pen and to keep her in there until she went. I maxed out after 2 hours of her insistant crying, and yelping and felt like the most awful mom! She had me in tears begging her to pee so I can let her out. After the 2 hours, I finally relented and let her out and the little stinker immediately peed on the carpet!
It ended up, she was not a piddle pad girl and she took to going outside so quickly.
I just assumed cuz Jazzie uses the piddle pad Jewel will follow the example. NOT!
Your little tyke might just prefer going outside. All Jewel wanted to do was to sleep ON the piddle pad, soiled or not! As she got older, she only slept on a clean pad, thank goodness! |
