Yes, 4-5 Xs per day is perfectly normal for a puppy. Also, the quality of the food will affect the amount of poop. Lower quality of food with more fillers or by-products (low digestibility) will result in more poop. Your baby should slow down to a couple of times per day when he is older! Also, it is not unusual for a puppy to poop everytime he eats and upon waking in the morning.
