I started giving Oreo a bath at 10 weeks and he did fine. And him and Ginger have been getting a bath either every week or twice a week and their skin is not dry, flaky or they are not itchy.. (maybe because i have them on Missing Link & Innova) ..

i guess it all depends on the dog as well.
