Get a pedometer. Seriously. There's even one you can purchase that downloads all of your information onto a website so you can track miles, calories burned, steps, etc.
I found myself competing with my previous days number of steps, each day I went farther. Talk about motivation! Then, once you've gotten motivated, try the equipment that seems like work!
