Also recommend a water bottle, the kind she can lick so that the ashes of the firepit/bug don't fly in the water dish. We were there Fri night until Sunday morning and she did fine. Luckily it wasn't too hot this weekend up there. She loved the smells of nature. Just be careful of bugs...we leashed her to her ex pen since she's a climber...if you dont' mind her being ouside eating dirt etc, you can get the kind of leash you can buckle to a tree branch too. Also, when you leave the campsite to hike etc, put away her food dish, her food dissapeared (in the ex-pen)when we came back, probably birds or something.
Wasn't too much to handle at all...nothing more than what we're used to, we took her expen inside our tent at night so the predators don't eat her...just make sure you're prepared for the possibilities of a cold night and bring things to keep her very warm. She had a blast exploring and we'd totally take her the next time we go.
Great information!!! So helpful. Thank you so much. I will for sure take her. I think her expen will be great there and she can sleep with me at night Yes I will be sure to take her pj's and some clothes incase it gets chilly. It's been starting to cool down recently so hopefully the weather will be good. Thanks again for all of your suggestions. Sounds like you were perfectly prepared!
