Hi Everyone! I wanted to update you all on Precious. After the post I left on 7-27 she started to get really bad! Her breathing became very short and every breath was a wimper. She was very unresponsive and her underside and skin was blood red. She felt hot too. I called the vet and she said to bring her right back up.I brought her back to the Vet on 7-27 @ 3:30p and when I got there, she took an X-Ray to see if her uterus was enlarged. The Xray showed it looked like a sausage!! The vet took her from my arms and said she had to go in for Emergency Surgery Immediately! I was so upset, I didn't want to believe my baby was that Ill. I am so meticulous with her! I take better care of her than myself! Well, the vet said she believed in her heart of hearts it was Pyometra, a bad infection in the uterus. So to make a long story short,I got a call back around 6:00p, IT WAS the Pyometra! Thank Goodness!! My baby is doing remarkably better!!! They gave me Baytril Antibiotic to give her 1xday and rimadyl for pain every 12 hrs. She has her "spunk" back again! She's eating and drinking again! She's running and jumping and playing again! I am so happy, I just wanted all of you who responded to my post to know that she is okay and I wanted to sincerely thank all of you guys for your help and support!! I couldn't have made it through this without all of your kind words and helpful suggestions. Again, Precious is all better, and she and I thank you all and send you all kisses!!
