he is 7.5 lbs. i don't want to over feed him or under feed him. please some suggestions her. and are hotdogs bad for them?
thanks
I would not feed him any table foods encluding hotdogs!
Look at the label on your dog food it gives you a guide line for lbs.
Buddy is 13.7lbs and he gets feed alittle less than 1/2 cup kibble, 1tsp of
boiled diced chicken and 1tsp of veg. (peas/carrots or green beans.) 2xday.
I take frozen vegs out of freezer night before, enough for a couple of days and alternate different veggies every couple of days. I boil chicken breasts on the weekend and freeze. This way there always ready when needed.
One avarge chicken breast will last about 4 days. I cut it in half and freeze the other 1/2 until needed. Take out the night before and it will thaw overnight. This way the chicken is always fresh. They love baby carrots and frozen green beans for snacks as well. Hope this helps. The baby carrots I
cuts in small pieces, always afraid of him choking.
